Research Interests
Dr. Sadeghi's research team is working to improve synthesis methods and develop new PET tracers to support emerging research projects. Current projects include: Development of more efficient synthetic pathways to label radiopharmaceutical molecules for cancer diagnostics; Miniaturized on chip analytical techniques for separation and identification of solvents and impurities associated with synthesis of common PET probes; Developing electrochemical regioselective synthesis techniques and platforms for direct nucleophilic [18F] fluorination; Electrochemically assisted solvent exchange and automated flow-through synthesizers.
